Three things settle the piece.

Before a single thread is drawn we settle the foundation. Your first consultation exists to understand these three, and nothing is quoted until they are agreed.

The Silhouette

We begin with the architecture of the piece. Whether it is a regal farshi gharara or a sleek modern pishwas, the silhouette has to flatter your form and suit the occasion.

Fabric & Handwork

From pure sheesha silk to mukesh-embellished organza. The cloth decides the zardozi, naqshi and resham it can carry — and it is the largest part of the price.

Colour & Timing

The palette has to hold up in your event's daylight or lamplight. Set against our ten to twelve week making time for bridals, that is what makes a date realistic.

The atelier process

From the first message to the final fitting

  1. Day one

    The message

You reach out with the occasion, the date and any inspiration you have gathered. A WhatsApp message is enough to begin.

  2. Week one

    The consultation

A detailed conversation, at no charge, about silhouette, cloth, colour and the story behind the piece. You see samples of the handwork.

  3. Within days

    Design and quote

A design concept and a written quote against the exact piece discussed. Nothing is charged until you accept it.

  4. Weeks two to nine

    Cutting and handwork

A 50% advance secures your slot in the atelier and cutting begins. You are sent progress as the embellishment goes on.

  5. Before the date

    Fitting and delivery

Finished with a complimentary fitting adjustment, pressed, and delivered with time in hand.

Five things that make the first conversation useful.

  1. The occasion date

Your deadline tells us what is achievable inside the ten to twelve week window.

  2. Colour palette

Any shades, inspiration or family heirloom you want the piece to sit beside.

  3. Silhouette preference

Lehnga, pishwas, gharara, or a contemporary long shirt.

  4. Budget range

This is what lets us recommend the right cloth and the right weight of handwork.

  5. Measurements

Optional. Rough figures help us picture proportion; exact sizing happens later.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a 50% advance required?

Every piece is made to order. The advance buys the cloth and books your slot with the artisans who will do the handwork. The balance is due before dispatch.

What if I need the piece in under ten weeks?

Sometimes possible, depending on what is already in the atelier. Say your date in the first message and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

Can I change the design after paying the advance?

Colour shades and dupatta fabric can still move in the first week. Once cutting and handwork begin, the silhouette is fixed.
